Trick or Treat? - Ladies Fashion

by Ben Mulvey October 02, 2015

Halloween is just two days away and we couldn’t be more excited! We love Halloween at Love2Dress. It’s the perfect excuse to dress up, go all out with your makeup and look as awfully scary as possible, and get away with it. Even if you’re not heading out for Halloween, it’s still perfectly acceptable to sit in and watch scary movies in a spooky costume.

Don’t worry if you haven’t yet bought your Halloween costume, because we have plenty of black clothing available online including dresses, skirts, tops and trousers to create a simple, yet scary outfit. Black clothing is the core to a scary Halloween outfit and you can do almost anything with it; trust us, we’ve done it plenty of times – plus you can keep the outfit and wear it all year round.

If you wanted a few spooky and dark Halloween outfit ideas, then let us help you.

If it’s a cape of some kind that you wanted to complete your spooky outfit, then this sleeveless black cape is the perfect addition. It will add the ‘oo’ in spooktacular and bring your outfit alive.

Maybe you’d prefer a classier and eleganct Halloween outfit, if so, why don’t you dress up as a dead celebrity? We mean this in the most respectful way possible, but why not pick up this stunning number and dress up as Audrey Hepburn? It’s a popular costume idea for Halloween and you can wear this black cut out shift dress all year round including for sophisticated work functions, or for a girl’s night out.

If it’s the weather that you’re more afraid of on Halloween, then why not compromise and wear some stylish black trousers instead? If you have an old pair at home, you could cut holes into them to really give that dead zombie feel. Or, you could snap up our contrast suede pu treggings and turn your outfit into a mysterious black cat?

Or how about long, black skirts? You could turn your Halloween outfit into a spirit from the 1900s. The Victorian era is a scary one when you look back at old photos and here of ghostly happenings that have occurred in old buildings, so why not join them and bring the Victorian spirits alive for one night only? We have two long dresses in particular to complete the outfit: The mini pleated maxi skirt  or the black lace flower detail midi skirt

If it’s just a top that you’re after and you want to also create an old fashioned look for Halloween, then our black v-neck chiffon blouse with pockets is perfect. Not only will it also create a Victorian look, but it can also be worn all year round for all occasions.

Of course you don’t just have to wear black over Halloween, there are endless choices of outfits and colours for you to choose from and they don’t all have to be scary. Black and the dead is what represents the scariest day of the year.

If you fancy some trick or treating this year, then why not focus on the treat and buy yourself a well-deserved outfit from Love2Wear? Get in touch today for more information on ladies fashion.
